Mrs Christensen completed her year as District 8 president and has been an Auxiliary member for 18 years having held many nffipM within the unit as well as various chairmanships. A ca.--h prize was awarded to the unit for their entry in the poppy window contest as well as a cash prize for the elementary student entry in the poppy poster contest. An entry by an Auxiliary member in the Americanism senior contest won a cash award and has been entered in the national contest. The unit received 6pecial recognition in the program of the Auxiliary with two cash awards given to juniors, Miss Judy Gunderson, 16, daughter of Mr & Mrs Lyle Gunderson, and Miss Karen Lynn Sctterberg, 12, daughter of Mr & Mrs Richard Setterberg. The juniors dressed dolls in typical ElSalvador costumes and were judged under direction of Mns Mable Larsen of Coalville, among those enter ed throughout the state. The local and state awards were given at a picnic meeting Monday. The picnic honored the junior auxiliary given by the seniors of the organization. Picnic Table Under direction of Bill Johnof the project, met Wednesday evening to begin work on another picnic table set to be placed in the Sandy City Park along with the one donated last year. Announcement was made of the Bugmobile Unit now being used as a money-makin- g project by the Jaycees. During the summer the Unit will again be available for spraying and ridding yards of damaging bugs. The members work with the machine and appointments can be made by contacting Deon Crawford, chairman of tine project.
