Page, Aerie president. The award was presented to Midvale Aerie by Val Berkley. He is a state cnapiain of the Utah State Aerie. Wishart W. Page received an engraved town-crie- r bell, symbolic of the award for Midvale Aerie's work this year in membership, fraternal, civic and community programs of the Eagles. Children's Shop A new shop, known as Phyllis' Fashions for Children, opened in Midvale Thursday at 39 N. Main St., the former location of Earl's Hardware. Norma Worden, Pleasant Grove, is the proprietor of the shop, which will specialize in infants' and children's wear and gifts up to size 14. Miss Worden was formerly associated with her sister, Phyllis, in a similar store at Pleasant Grove. Surprise Dinner Party A surprise dinner party last Saturday evening at a Salt Lake cafe honored C. I. Lackson, E. 70 South, who retired Apr. 30 from the Kennecott Copper Co. electrical department, after 37 years of service. After dinner a special tribute was given Mr Isackson and a gift presented to him from his associates as a to ken of appreciation for his friendship.
