Maren Atkinson has been appointed as advancement chairman. Jan. 10 has been set for the next court of honor. Robert Larson Is Warrant Officer Robert A. Larson, Sandy, has been appointed a warrant officer in the VS. Army Reserve at Fort Douglas where he is in charge of the 96th infantry division band He was given his oath of of fice by Brig. Gen. H. Lynn Ost ler, assistant division comman der. The new warrant officer has been in the Army Reserve four years and was on active duty in 1957. Kent Simonson Returns To States for Duty Kent Simonson, Airman 2nd Class, completed 20 months of service in the Philippine Islands. Kent, son of Mr & Mrs Albert Simonson, Sandy, is home for the Christmas holidays and will report to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., on Dec. 29. Gale Simonson, Airman 3rd Class, is attending police school at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. lie is scheduled to return Jan. 21. Virgil, who is in the Army will report to a base in Arizona after New Year's Day after being stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Tex. Mrs Lloyd will join her husband after he is situated there. They enjoyed a family Christmas dinner at the Lloyd home. A tape recording was made at the Don Rasmussen home for the enjoyment l his mother, Mrs Mary Rasmussen, who lives in Castledale.
