Election of officers, brief talks on vital school issues, music by instrumental groups, and the three orations sponsored by the American Legion at Jordan high school featured the West JorAssociation dan Parent-Teache- r meeting March 24, at West Jordan school, under direction of Mrs Gordon Linnell, president. Following the posting of colors by the veteran's group, election of officers took place with the following being president, Mrs Linnell; vice president, Mrs Vance Wood; second vice president, Principal H. W. Jorgenson, and secretary, Mrs Elmer Tripp. During the meeting Mr Jorgen-seexplained the new law which, if passed, will change the age limit at which children will start to school. Mrs Helen Black of the Jordan school district outlined de- fields visited with other friends and relatives, and Mr L Mrs David Haycock at Nauvoo. They also visited the historical places of the church and report a most wonderful trip.
