Murray, Utah August 7, 1968 Dear Editor: We would like to publicly thank the persons in charge of the Liberty Baseball Association for the manner in which it operates. As parents of a young boy, who has Just finished playing his first year Little League ball, we would like to thank ssd appears in Monday's County Fair parade, winding up the summer season with a first prize. the men who have contributed their time and talents toward teaching him ball playing funand especially damentals, teaching him the importance of being a good sport. We, as parents, can often learn a great lesson by watching how these young boys react when decisions are made that are not to their liking, or when they lose a close, important game. We would like to commend the men and young boys who have acted as umpires for these games. They have done a very good job and without them there would be no ball games. At this time, we would give special thanks to our coaches, Don Gardner and Fred Bleaz-ar- d. They have spent many hours with these boys giving them the understanding, love, and patience that good coaches must have. We appreciate what they have done for our boy; they are excellent examples of fine sportsmanship. We hope they will continue to coach and influence young lives. Congratulations are surely in order to all the coaches, umpires, and boys in the Little Leagues. Mr. and Mrs. Rex A.
