Mar- iners of Cottonwood Presbyterian church will take a cruise to the South Pacific Islands" at 6;30 Saturday night when they present their annual summer luau at the church, 1580 E. Vine. Using a nautical theme, couples will board a 'luxury liner, bound for the Paeific Isles. "Ice breaker games will open the evening's activities and the luau will be served on the church patio. To create an Island atmosphere fresh flowers will be the center of decorations along with a waterfall, fruits and vines. Couples are being encour aged to wear beachcomber clothes or native costumes of the Islands. Entertainment will feature a judo exhibition. Dr. Bruce Parsons, charter president of the group, presented an illustrated talk on a trip taken by him and his family to Central and South America this year. The Parsons family travelled with Rotary's delegates to the International convention in Mexico City. From there, travelling by air and using rented ground transportation, they visited El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Equador, Curacao and Puerto Rico. They returned home by way of the East coast.
