Thursday, September 21, 1961 3 w Recipients were Kent Angell, Jay Mower and Glen H. Mitchell. Mr Mower and Mr. Mitchell are assistant scoutmasters of troop 394, Murray 12th ward. Kent is also from troop 394. Host troop was 94 of 1st ward, led by Harry Ballard scoutmaster. Howard Madsen and Hank Williams conducted the court. Eagle presentations were made by Reed Bills and Al. O. Peterson of Murray South stake and Vern Mattson of Murray stake. Delbert Ben nett led the Eagle pledge. award Other recognitions were made to the following: John Robin Mullen and Jimmy son to 2nd class; Ronald Fer-ri- n and Larry Miller, one merit badge each; Richard Shaw, two badges and special award for junior lifesaving and swimming. All are from troop 127 of 3rd ward. From 12th ward's troop 394, merit badges went to Kent Angell and Glen Mitchell, two each, and David S. young Man Injured In Freak Wreck Murray. Barr M. Neff, old Union youth, suffered a broken rib, kidney injuries, bruises and abrasions Thursday about 5:20 p.m. when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle, then "ricocheted" into a bridge and struck a business building. The accident happened at Vine and !th East. tNINJlKM) IN the mishap were Mrs. Neff, the former Marcina I'oole. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Poole. 5001 Glenn St. and the driver of the old Carol other auto, Ann Shampton. 4880 So. Kingston Way. Damages estimated at $1,500 were incurred on the car driven by Neff, a l!r8 Chevy station wagon owned by his father-in-la- Bennett and Larry Conoso, one each.
