Show Valley Leaders Maintain Unbeaten Pace Last Week Kearns. Although only playing one game last week, Granger Builders continued to dominate play in the Valley Babe Ruth League by trouncing the Bees, 24-Friday. Raschco Homes, the third-plac- e club, had a busy week, winning three decisions and losing two tilts. TUESDAY, Jl'LY 4T1I, they and Weddumped VFW, 12-nesday, July 5th, they whipped Coast Guard by the same score. In the latter battle Danny Leatherwood took the victory while Johnny Arnez was the losing pitcher. Thursday saw the Homes nine lose a thriller to Winder with Leatherwood Dairy, charged with the loss and Larry Powell chalking up the win. Cost is $1 each and funds will be applied against league debts. They can be obtained from any manager or from Bud Abbott, president. He announced that the league is still selling tickets for the district tournament. Price is $1 each and the league must sell at least 50 ducats. THE MEET will be played July 25th in Ogden and July 26th in Granger. A coin toss will determine the game site for July 28th.
