Show Bees Cop First Place In Cottonwood League GREENFIELD The first half of the Western Boys Baseball League series wound up With the Bees leading J wins and 2 lost. The Cubs slipped to tie for second place with the Yanks with 5 wins and 4 losses each, and the Braves followed with 1 win and 8 losses. Scores on tha games played last week in the final round of the first' half are as follows: June 9th, Bees 16 and Cubs I; June 10th, Yank3 14 and Braves 6; June l.lth, Bees 13 and Brav es 4; Yanks 2 and Cubs 6. Two games in the second half have been played this week. On Tuesday the Cubs played the Bees and Wednesday the Braves played the Yanks.
