Wards MISSIONARY WILL REPORT ACTIVITIES Elder David Watkins will give a report of his missionary experiences at sacrament meeting Dec. 8, at Murray 10th ward. Eld&r Watkins returned last week from the Eastern States mission. THANKSGIVING GUESTS Bishop and Mrs. Ben Brown, 4955 Wasatch St., had as dinner their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Terry, 429 Belview, entertained on Thanksgiving for Mrs. Terry's father, Charles O. Wight, 5848 So. 157 West. Other guests were Mrs. Terry's sisters, Miss Barbara Wight and Miss Linda Wight, her brother, Charles Wight, and Mrs. Reta Lincoln and sons, Steven and Douglas. COURT OF HONOR A Stake Boy Scout Court of Honor was held for the Scouts, Scouters and parents of the Murray South Stake Monday evening in the 6th, 10th, and 13th ward chapel, with the Sixth ward Scouts as host troop. During the evening Douglas Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Turner, was presented with his Eagle Scout award, by his scout master Reed Bills. Scouts from the 13th ward won the traveling trophy for having the largest amount of points for the evening. PATRIARCH ADDRESSES FIRESIDE GROUP SPONSOR BAZAAR BOOTHS A bazaar will be held Dec. 7 Patriarch Marius O. Evans was the speaker at a Fireside meeting sponsored by the 14th ward MIA last Sunday. Even though Friday the 13th is supposed to be a "bad luck" day, the Spartans are going to do their best to make that day one of the outstanding of the year. Tuesday, the senior girls took tests which will give forth their ability as future Homemakers. The Betty Crocker tests were given and the highest score will enable the student to compete in taking similar tests on a national basis. Traveling Assembly tryouts are being held this week and most likely part of next.
