It was outlined this way by PTA officers: "The Granite school district pays 80c per hour for canning help. By working in the cannery for a day or two, individuals can help in raising enough money for our school activities. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 12 midnight to 6 a.m. Due to the lateness of the fruit, the week of Sept. 19 through 23rd is designated as our time.
