Gile, son of Mrs. Marie R. Gile, 5981 Afton Ave. on Wednesday, Sept. 7. The double ring ceremony was performed at the Salt Lake LDS temple. The couple was honored with a reception that evening at the Avalon Ballroom. About 600 guests attended. The bride wore a gown of blush pink nylon net with insets of white chantilly lace extending dorp into the skirt. A short jacket of matching lace accented the bodice. It was styled with a Peter Pan collar and long pointed sleeves. Her fingertip veil of bridal illusion whs caught by a crown of irridescent sequins and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses centered with a white orchid. Her pearl earrings were a gift of the groom. Miss Alice Ohwiler was maid of honor. Her street length dress was of avacado green faille. Her bouquet of pink and white carnation was surrounded by pink rosebuds and tied with gold rib bons. were Bridesmaids Betty Shields, Ra Nae Pyne, cousins of the bride, and Karen Carpen ter. Their dresses were similar to that of the maid of honor in gold faille. Green ribbons ac cented their bouquets of pink and white carnations and pink rose buds. The Erekson's sons, Tom and Alan have been enrolled in a private school, because of the differences in the graduating ages.
