Show THE MURRAY EAGLE FRIDAY, JUNE 18, 1954 Patronize Eagle Advertisers School Board Slates Hearing on Budgets The annual budget hearing of the Murray City board of education will be held Tuesday, June 29, at 5 p. m. in the board room at Arlington School, it was announced Thursday by J. Easton Parratt, schools superintendent and clerk of the board. The hearing will be in two parts, the revision of the budget for the school year just ended and the proposed budget for the 1954-5- 5 school year. m :4,. ft-,- . Andrus of 4640 Box-eldSt., Murray, Utah, packs his seabag as he prepares to leave the Far East and return to the United States. Cpl. McReynoIds has been serving" with the Headquarters Squadron of the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing at an air base here. A former student of Murray High School he entered the Marine Corps in July, 1952. Cpl. McReynoIds arrived in Korea . in April, 1953. After a leave to visit family and friends, Cpl. McReynoIds will report to one of the many Marine Corps Posts throughout the United States for duty. er BOURBON youthful links hopefuls turned out Monday for the first annual Murray Junior Golf tournament, sponsored by the Murray Junior Chamber of Commerce. Winner of the event with a score of 89 was Mike Taylor. Dick Jensen had a 92 and Robert Lowry a 97 for the 18 medal play. Golfer Taylor will receive an expense paid trip to Ogden for the state meet. He also received a golf club, donated by Sears Roebuck Co. The second play winner received a package of golf balls donated by Hendricks Shoe Co. and the third place winner received a golf glove, donated by the Jaycees. of the event were Don C.
