Army at the Intelligence School and where the young couple will make their home for the next three weeks before Mario is shipped overseas for further assignment. His bride will then return to Provo to make her home with her mother until he returns to civilian life. The bride is a graduate of the Provo High school where she was s active in the and Pep clubs and for the past two years has attended the BYU, where she was a member of the Cougarettes and was social chairman of the Cami-Lo- s Social Unit. Mario was a popular athletic leader at Murray High and in the Salt Lake County Recreation Dept. While at Murray High he was chosen to play on the All Star Baseball team for the Shnner's Benefit at Ogden. He was also active in athletics while attending the BYU for the past three years. State St. i attractive and popular Miss Barbara Munroe, daughter of Mrs. Emily Munroe of Provo and John Mario Bowen. son of Mr. and Mrs. David L, Bowen, South State, Murray were wed Thursday morning, Jan. 14, by Apostle LeGrand Richards, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Their parents and a number of other relatives and friends accompanied the young couple during the Temple ceremony. A reception was held that same evening at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hansen, Orem. The bridal pair were unattended, but the bride's mother and the groom's parents stood with them to receive the guests. The lovely bride was especially becoming in her gown of white imported lace, underlaid with white, slipper satin. Mrs. Munroe wore a lavender crepe afternoon gown and Mrs. Bowen's gown was a black creation and they each had a bouquet of white carnations pinned at the shoulder. Adding a floral note to the room setting were large vases of white stalks, mums and acacia. Byron Jensen played several appropriate selections on the organ during the evening.
