Bamett of Murray Third ward will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Murray City cemetery. Born in Granite, Utah, on Sept. 26, 1891, he was a son of William 0. and Elizabeth McGee Blair. He was a member of the LDS church and of Murray First ward. On Nov. 12, 1924, he married GlaJys Boyce tn the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Blair held membership In American Legion Post No. 60 of Murray and had served during World War I Win the Signal Corp in France .'n two major military engagement. During his youth he was team master, hauling ore from Little and Big Cottonwood canyons and from Bingham canyon to the smelter (Tt Sandy. He also helped develop the George ervlce Blair , , . Throughout his life, Mr. Blair maintained an active Interest in sports, especially baseball and basketball, and had been a player in the state and county baseball leagues. Surviving are bis widow; one son, Don Clair, 273 Mountain View Dr.; one daughter, Mrs. Dean (Wanda Lee) Thorn berg of Sa- - Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 260 East South Temple St., Salt Lake City, for William Atwood Allen, 75, 4840 At wood Blvd., who died Wednesday of last week at the Veterans hospital In Salt Lake City. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Allen was born Jan. 4, 1877 In Roanoke Rapids, N. C, a son of Thomas J. and Rebecca Valentine Allen. He was a former ROTC instructor at Denver University and for 13 years was an instructor in the State Inlustrial school at Golden, Colo. He came to Utah in 1946. He was a member of the Episcopal church. Burial was In Hamilton, Ontario. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen M. Allen of Murray; three brothers, Dallas R., Randall P. and Henry Allen, all of Roanoke and two sisters, Mrs. Rapids, Maude Moore, Laurencevllle, Va., and Mrs. Mary Calsh, Emporia, Va. vannah, Co.; two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Thomas Blair, Granite; Charley Blair, Butlervllle: Grant Blair, Union; Mrs. Mary E.
