Poultry Leaders See Boost in Egg Price Poultry leaders from around the state . and southern Idaho were told that "egg prices are definitely on the way up" and that feed prices, "long too high, are going to continue high," by H. M. Blackhurst, assistant general manager of Utah Poultry and a member of the U. S. Advisory- Feed Board, at a special meeting at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City. The meeting was for presidents of various local poultry groups around the state and southern Idaho, affiliated with Utah Poultry. Don C. Pierce of Salem presided. Redwood Rd., and Jimmy Larson, 19, of 2944 South State St. The two youths were killed Suaday in a head-o- n automobile collision near Bluffdale. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Childress, parents of the victim, watched in horror as the automobile in which their two boys, Harold and Jack, 17, and the Larson youth with were riding collided head-oan auto driven by Sgt. Robert Bernard Nielsen, 22, of 5916 Oak-hiDrive. After the wreck, Mr. Childress was 'quoted as saying, "I was holding Harold when he died". Mrs. Christensen, widow of Miller Christensen. was born in Uhlan, Denmark, Feb. 26, 1868, the daughter of Jens and Eliza beth Christensen. She came to Utah with her parents in 1871. She was married to Mr. Chris- ensen, April 26, 1895, in Salt Lake City, and the marriage was ater solemnised in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Christensen died Sept. 20, 1950. She has been i resident of South Cottonwood ward for 43 years, moving here with her husband the same year they were married. She was the mother of five sons and three daughters.
