State for Carl Ingerman Anderson, 52, former resident of Murray, who died Monday of a heart ailment at the residence of a son, Earl Anderson, in Blackfoot, Ida. Born Dec. 22, 1896, in Murray, he was a son of Oscar M. and Inea Hendrickson Anderson. He married Irene Gregory Anderson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1916- Mrs. Anderson died in 1945. Mr. Anderson was employed for a number of years by the Union Pacific railroad and American Smelting and Refining Co. in Murray. Surviving are four sons: Anderson, Dillon, Mont.; Earl Anderson, Blackfoot, Ida.; Gene Anderson. Wallace, Ida.; and Franklin Anderson,' Dillon, Cleone Mont.; two daughters, Anderson, Dillon, and Darlene Anderson, Pine Bluff. Car Crashes, Burns But Four Escape Four persons narrowly escaped serious injuries Sunday evening, when two cars, driven by Stephen L, Perry, 18, Crescent and David Glen Brown, 19, 1765 Fifth East, came together in a rearend collision near 5550 South State St. The Perry car, according to investigating officers crashed into the Brown car while it was stopped for traffic clearance to make a left turn. The Brown car burst into flames following the impact, but Mr. Brown and his companion, Naoma Rolfson, 445 East Seventh South, escaped unhurt. Mr. Perry and his passenger, Clayton Simonds, 17, of Midvale, suffered scratches and bruises.
