Show Legion Egg Hunt Neff's Opening Will Be April 21 Ailracis 2300 I' ll The famous Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Murray Post No. CO, American Legion, will be held in Murray park Sunday. April 21, at 7 a. m., it has been announced. Legionnaires are now soliciting prize eggs from Murray merchants. The prize eggs are marked so that the finder can claim a certain amount of cash or t! Speakers will be Art Horsley, state adjutant; Fritz Springer, and Art Pe ters, district commander. Mr Springer will talk on the subject of the veterans' administration. All members of the Murray Post are urged to be present, especially new men, as Mr. Springer will report some interesting facts about this subject. Also at this meeting the new members will be installed. The first clean-u- p campaign in this city sincee 1942 will start on Monday, April 8, and will continue for two weeks to April 22. City truck's will haul junk and debris, but will not haul tree stumps or branches. It will be necessary for citizens to phone either the fire chief or chief of police in order to have the truck call for your load. The Lions club and other civic groups will cooperate to clean and up beautify the city in this drive. The Lions intend to choose a project of its own where the more vigorous members can rally around to clean up some of the eyesores on public streets and lots, Details will be given later. J: AMERICAN LEGION PARADE APRIL 6 American Legion members and veterans of all wars residing in or near Murray City are invited to report at the Murray City hall at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, for placing in the American Legion parade in Salt Lake City on that date. The occasion of the parade is Army Day, and General Dwight Eisenhower has requested all veterans possible to participate in the parade and preferably to wear their uniforms. The general asks that a good representation is in the parade and the veterans will be very welcome either in uniform or otherwise, according to Mr. David Webb, Murray press reporter for the American Legion Post No. 60.
