Guild Girls on Thursday evening, courses being served at the homes of Miss Florence Raddon, Mrs. J. P. Payne, Miss Violet Bennion and Mrs. Melvin Frame in Salt Lake. Following the dinner the remainder of the evening was spent at the Frame home. At this time the girls completed thier gifts toward their quota for the missions and reports were read. Crusaders will meet Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the church, the final meeting before the rally. All children are urged to attend. Miss Frieda Dressel of Salt Lake will assist Mrs. Payne. The Baptist B.Y.P.U. will meet at the regular time, 6:30 Sunday evening. The group recently organized a "Kangaroo Court." A constitution was written up, comprised of 12 fundamental laws based upon the constitution of the United States. Fines are imposed upon all who disobey these rules and all lawbreakers go before the judge for sentence on the third Sunday evening of each month. The first court session will be held this Sunday. St. Vincent DePaul Next Sunday will be children's Sunday at St. Vincent's. Immediately following the 10:30 mass, which will be a high mass, the children of the parish will be entertained by the Sunday school teachers. All altar boys will please be present for the late mass. Easter Sunday afternoon, Patricia Winifred Phelan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Phelan, was baptized. Sponsors were William Bowens and Winifred Margaret Kilby. Present at the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. James Kilby, godparents. Friday morning funeral sera vices were held for Mrs. Philips, deceased, wife of Mr. Felix Philips. Surviving are the husband and son, John. St. Vincent's choir furnished the music. Father Kennedy conducted the services. St. Vincent's will be the scene of a wedding Saturday morning, when Miss Mary Pezely, daughter of Mrs. Eleanor Pezely, will become the bride of Mr. Thomas Sertich of Sacramento, California. Mr. Jim Rinaldi of Salt Lake City will give the bride away. A number of relatives, friends and admirers will be present. The young couple will make their home in Sacramento. The people of St. Vincent's and community wish them many happy years of wedded life. Easter, the anniversary of Our Saviour's resurrection, was fittingly kept. Two capacity congregations were present ot pay their tribute of respect to the Risen Christ.
