The ivitation of Jesuj to this man is particularly appropriate at this time cf the year. At the portals of the New Year, the invitation of Christ, "Follow me," sounds in our ears. Upon the basis tf Matthew's experience, recorded in Matt. 9, we shall preach on the iubjct, "Christ's New Year Invitation: 3. 'Follow Me'!"
