The Murray Lions club is intensive preparations for a musical comedy "Coast to Coast", wnicn tney plan to present in the Murray high school auditorium November 3rd and 4th. An excellent cast has been se lected and rehearsals are underway. The cast is bending every effort to present an outstanding production. Clifford Hansen this week, work will begin soon on the project to replace wood stave pipe along State street from 53rd to 59th South with a new 12 inch steel pipe. Two carloads of pipe arrived in Murray yesterday. A saving was obtained of 13c per foot, accord ing to commissioner Hansen. The same kind of pipe cost $1.10 in 1936.
