Registration fees will be paid at the time of registration, and class work will begin at eight p.m. of the same evening. Following is a list of courses to be offered. Electric and acetylene welding, blueprint reading, mining operations, radio and television. Registration fees for the twenty meetings of the courses will be four dollars, plus laboratory fees in case registration is for welding. The mining course will be taught by geologists of the United States Mining company. The following business courses will be offered: business Typing, shorthand, accounting. Registration fee for these courses will be two dollars. J. Receiving a marker was a mulberry tree planted about 1860 by William Howard, a pioneer of 1853. The tree was planted at the old Howard homestead on Highland Drive. Another tree marked was a Juniper planted by William Casto on land now owned by Mrs. Laney. A horse chestnut and a weeping ash, planted by Hosea Stout about seventy-twyears ago, were the other trees marked during the afternoon.
