Sint. 3. 4 particular exhibit draws large crowds of interested persons each Governor Invited to Speak at Mercur Sunday, September 3rd, will be a red letter day for the resi dents of Tooele County and particularly those of the now rehabilitated Town of Mercur, 25 miles south of this city. The people of Tooele, of which many are former residents of Mercur will be glad to know that the Mercur Pioneer Society, an organization of early day residents, will hold their 9th Annual Outing and reunion in the old camp next Sunday. President J. R. Jarvis, of the Society, stated today that every thing is in readiness for the event and that a record crowd is expected to attend. Not only from Utah but, as has been heretofore, many will come from other states, both near and far. Due to the revival of the activities in the old camp the outine has attracted much attention and development for the past year has been phenomenal. In preparation of this event the people of Mercur have formed a committee and have obtained the services of some very high class entertainment. A program has been prepared that will fill the day with activities. The music from the band will echo in the hills once more and a signal J. R.
