I. A. Banquet Is Outstanding Event Cottonwood Stake Gleaner Girls and M Men staged the most outstanding event of its kind ever undertaken at the banquet held at the Lion House Wednesday evening. 230 were in attendance and a program in which the eleven wards of the stake participated was of an unusually interesting eharacter. Webb Snarr, of Murray Second ward, was master of ceremonies. There were many splendid musical numbers on the program, and other outstanding features were the farce, "Romeo and Juliet," a burlesque on the Wallv Simpson and Duke of Windsor romance, and the retold story by Beth Chirstensen of Winder Ward. Decorations were in the M I A colors, carried out in gay jonwith spring greenery. quils These colors were carried out in every detail including the programs. Special guests were Helen Williams and Frank McGhie of the General M I A Board, MIA leaders in all wards and the bishoprics of the various wards were also in attendance.
