The Murray City Lion's Club held an interesting meeting at the Bap-is- t church on Tuesday evening. Curtis Shaw- and his assistants were in charge of the meeting and Kev. gave a dandy entertainment. Payne of the Baptist church was a guest and made an inspiring address on "The Christmas Spirit." President Bentz announced that the Lion's Club would remember the children of Murray City this Christ, mas and aappoluted H. Howe as chairman of a committee to handle manthis activity in an ner. Dr. Boucher made some constructive suggestions along club lines. Dr. W. II. Kothwell won the attendance which was furnished by A. W. Yeager. Curtis Shaw was fined ten cents for mentioning "Plate Glass." George Huscher made a motion that at the next meeting each mem-Ih- t of the Club submit a suggestion as to the Civic Betterment Campaign for the coming year. The club was entertained by Murray singers and the usual marvelous dinner was served by the Baptist ladies. It Is rejKtrted that "Plate Glass" will continue a closed 'sea: son word at club meetings.
