Mrs. 1.1111c Darnall Vance passed away e.t her home last Saturday, after af-ter an Illness of over two yenrs. During Dur-ing the past year of her life she suff. end Intensely, being afflicted with cancer. Through all she was patient and cheerful, never complaining and always willing and anxious to sacrifice sac-rifice her feelings for the comfort of others. It was by her request that her son, Darnall, who was filling a miss-Ion miss-Ion In tho southern states, was kept unaware of her condition and not until un-til one month bofoio her death wou'd she consent to hnvo him come homo. Her modest, unassuming ways, her lovable disposition and her kind southern hospitality won for her n circle of faithful friends. Mrs. Vnnce was born In Dawson, Springs, Ky July 29, 1873. She was tho daughter of Mr. and Mm. M. V. Darnall. In 1889 she beenme n member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and moved with her parcnta and sisters to Ogdon, Utah. Sho was a graduate nurse, which profession pro-fession she followed two years. She wns married to J. W. Vance February Febru-ary 22, 1893, In tho Logan Temple. Hor married life was spent In Alpine. The funeral services were hold In tho Alpine meeting house, Monday at 2 o'clock, Joseph F. Marsh presiding. Prayer was opened by Illshop Albeit Marsh. The speakers were, James II. Clark of American Fork, Able John Evans nnd Dr. Worlton of I.chl and lien Fcrrlll, nnd autobiography of her life was read by Mrs. Celestla Itoy-lance. Itoy-lance.
