She was a niece of Lon-ni- e Willingham and Mrs. Maude Mil-for- Veazey. Mrs. Veazey accompanied Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Bonner and children to Adriar to attend funeral services. The Bonners left Friday for theii home in Lovington, New Mex Thanksgiving dinner guest.' of the L. B. Willinghams and the Frank Veazeys were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bonner and son Jack of Sentinel, Okla, and William Lee Bonner of Loving-ton- , New Mexico. They had previously visited their daughter in Oregon. Also Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thompson visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veazey and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thompson. student at Utah State University, and Marilyn Moore and her fiance. Bob Loss, students at the University of Utah, were Thanksgiving guests of the girls' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moore. Dr. Taylor MeConnell of the Methodist in Headquarters Denver, was a week end guest of Rev. and Mrs. Jim Sloan. Mrs. Hazel Moore received word that she has a new Joyce Moore, ody Louise 8 lb 12 oz Melwas born Nov. 11 in Helena, Calif., to Mrs. Louise Ord, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Carleock in Helena, Calif. Mrs. Sarah Atkin spent her Thanksgiving holidays with her grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Nilsson, and Annette Puffer, sister of Mrs. Nilsson, in Las Vegas. She motored to Las Vegas with Mr. Nilsson on Nov. 22, returning Dec. 6. While in the Nevada city she enjoyed a sight seeing tour, including Boulder Dam. Doug Cook is expected in Milford for the Christmas Mrs. Kowena Winn is now at home after undergoing surgery in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. h Mr. and Mrs. William of Salt Lake spent a few days in Milford last week. Merlin Orgill is in Kansas City, Mo., attending an AT&T Mrs. Orgill and their school. four children will meet him in Salt Lake Dec. 18 and they will visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Walter McCul-le- y and son George will spend the Christmas holidays in Minn., with their son in law and daughter, Lt. and Mrs. David Eppick. Thanksgiving holiday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock were their son Robert, en route from San Francisco to his new home in New Jersey, and another son and family, Joe and LaRae Murdock and five children of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Murdock will leave next week for an extended visit with their son in law and daughter, Sam and Dorothy Dunkley, in San Mateo, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Murdock and family visited relatives in St. George and Hurricane en route home from attending the St. George Temple wedding of Beverlee Hardy and Keith Erickson. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Ruth were in Salt Lake last week on a business trip. Ardath Ryan of Salt Lake spent the Thanksgiving holidays with her mother, Mrs. Cloticl Whittakcr. Bill and Colleen Johnson of McGill, Nev., are expected in Milford this week end, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brisco. The Johnsons plan to make their home here. Brinkerhoff, 35, formerly of Lovell, Wyo., has been named office manager for the Farmers Home Administra tion for Beaver County, suc who ceeding Brooks Poulson, has been transferred to Richfield. Mr. Poulson had been assigned to the Beaver office for the past six years. Mr. Brinkerhoff was born in Lovell, Wyo., in 1930. He married Marilyn Pitman of Tempe, Arizona, in December ,1960. They have three children, Clayton W., 4; Lynell, 2, and Beth. 6 months of age. Mr. Brinkerhoff was formerly employed by the U S Forest Service at Flagstaff, Ariz., and was a member of the evaluation team on watershed management, making feasibility studies. He holds BS and MS degrees in Agricultural Economics from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. Cash TIGERS SEEK FIRST VICTORY Milford's basketball squad will be looking for their first victory of the practice season when they entertain North Sanpete tonight (Thursday) in the local gym. Cedar City, Emery and Enterprise have handed the Tigers defeats in the three games played to date. Friday, Dec. 10, the local lads play at Dixie, and Saturday night they will meet Virgin Valley of Moapa, Nev., on the home court. TO RECITAL MS CONCERT The Yule season in Milford will be opened when the Milford High School Band and Chorus, directed by Gary Winkle, present the annual Christmas Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p. m. in the High School Auditorium. Students have prepared a variety of offerings including a musical panorama of Christmas songs, patriotic numbers, and the chorus will feature several variety numbers. The program will include solos, duets, a vcoal quartet, and several numbers by the newly organized dance band. The general public is invited to attend the concert. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Grif fiths and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths are in Salt Lake for a few days for medical attention. Wayne Mecham. son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham, will be released from the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital today, after two weeks of medical care. PARTY NEXT WEEK Peter Pan and Captain Hook renew a 60 year old rivalry when Ruta Lee and Victor Buono take the lead parts in "Peter Pan," opening at the Valley Music Hall in North Salt Lake Dec. 17. Producer LeRoy Prinz has announced three evening and seven matinee performances, with final showing a Christmas Day matinee. Opening night is a benefit for the David O. McKay Hospital building fund, sponsored by the Dee Hospital Volunteers. Peter Pan, first presented in London in 1904, quickly became a Christmas standard, with Salt Lake's own Maude Adams playing the title role In New York in 1905. It was put to music in 1950. Dec. 18, at Jefferson's. All money raised will be used to purchase equipment for the recreation room at the hospital. "All house wives of Milford are invited to contribute the their delicacy they consider specialty," a spokesman said. "Candy Stripers will offer pickup service, and will staff the sales booth at Jefferson's." OBITUARIES HAROLD ROBERTS Harold Roberts. 72, Lyman, Wyo., former Minersville resident, died Wednesday of natural causes in a Sheridan hospital. He was born April 17, 1892, in Minersville, to George and Eliza Bradshaw Roberts. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the LDS Church. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Martha Field, Lyman.
