Mr. Winkle is the Milford High music instructor. 0 Mrs. Garnetta Hollis is confined to the Good Samaritan in Hospital, 1212 Shatti St., Los Angeles, and will undergo major surgery Friday. Mrs. Marvel Connell underwent major surgery last Thursday in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. She is reported to be recuperating satisfactorily. Mrs. Mae Colborn was with her at the time. Mrs. Colborn is now in Sunnyside with her son In law and daughter. Roger Memmott, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Memmott, has been named to the Literary Magazine staff at the BYU. Howard and Lois Curtis and four children of Salt Lake, former Milford residents, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Armon Whiting.
