The first period of the class will be used for study end lecture, the second for lab work and experimentation. Equipment is being readied and the group is looking forward to the year ahead. LET'S GET TOUGH! Thirty excited boys met for the first football workout of the year last Monday. All last week, twice a day, the team met for practice to get in shape for the first game, Sept. 10, against Lincoln High of Nevada on the home turf. The team has a lot of spirit this year and is ready for the start of a winning year, so let's all get behind them! TEACHER INSTITUTE The Beaver County teachers "Public Relations and the Role of a Teacher" institute was held last Friday in Beaver. Teachers from all over the county attended the meeting. The institute was divided into two sessions. The first session was devoted to several speakers, including Superintendent Lefevor, and the second to a dinner and social for all school employees and partners. Hubert Smith spent one day at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ross Lang, en route to his employment in Ogden. This is very rare a 65th wedding anniversary, and a proud and happy family greeted approximately 250 guests at an open house reception at the Carter home, where they were served wedding cake and other refreshments.
