Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah's third annual essay contest has begun. This year's theme is "Aviation's Centennial and Tomorrow." The contest is open to all junior high school students in southern Idaho, western Wyoming and all of Utah. Essays are limited to 1,000 words and must be typewritten. Each essay must include the name of the student and school, teacher, school address, school telephone number and student's grade. First place receives a check for $50, to be presented at the museum. Second place receives a check for $25, while third place gets $15 and fourth $10. Essays are due at the museum by the end of March and awards will be made during the month of May.
