In fact, the 75th MDG received an overall rating of 95 on the JCAHO inspection, and a "Mission Ready" rating from the HIS team. HQ AFMC Surgeon General, Col. George Seignious, commended 75th Medical Group on achieving "the highest scores in Command this year." And, to Col. James D. Allman, the HSI team leader said, "I can't remember the last time I saw a medical group receive only one Type I finding on an inspection." In addition to the high overall ratings from both teams, several areas were cited as potential best practices, to include data collection, drug testing and customer satisfaction. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Air Force Inspector General's Health Services Inspection team visited last month to ensure that Hill's medical group is in compliance with both Air Force and civilian healthcare standards. Hie JCAHO is an accreditation organization that measures the performance of healthcare providers against established standards, while the HSI team evaluates "military unique" aspects of healthcare. According to Col. Charles Williams, Commander, 75th Medical Group, the inspection is a "validation from outside agencies of what we already knew the men so this is a great place to come and watch the games." The social calendar at the club is filled to capacity with every night of the week having a different activity.
