The trips leave from and return to Bldg. 524, and more details are available by calling Ext. or visiting the 75th Services Division's Web site at www.hill.af.milservicesindex.htm. Activities and tours planned are: Winter Survival Class. Classroom instruction on March 12 and 14 from p.m., An Air Force surovernight trip March vival instructor teaches the two nights of details. The group will snowshoe into the overnight area and set up camp. Participants need to bring sleeping bag, winter clothing, canteen, cooking items, boots and food for dinner and breakfast. The cost is $20 per person. Advanced Winter Survival Class, March 0 19 and 21 classroom instruction from y March p.m., overnight trip. Prerequisite, basic winter survival class. The advanced class includes additional instrucy tion and a camping trip. The cost is $50 per person and includes one dinner and two breakfasts. Participants need to bring sleeping bag, winter clothing, canteen, eating utensils, and boots. Enjoy Pony Express Trail, April an overnight camping trip on the Old Pony Express Trail. The tour stops at Camp Floyd and the old historic Stage Coach Stop. The station was one of approximately 165 along the 2,000-mil- e route between St. Joseph, Mo., and Sacramento, Calif. The mail delivery contract, operated by the Central Overland California and Pikes Peak Express Company, operated from April 3, 1860, to late October 1861. One the second day, the tour visits Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and the town of Gold Hill. The last stop is Wendover, Nev.. for lunch.
