A dinner of baked ham, scalloped potatoes and pumpkin pie was served to Manager Mar garet Mahoney, Shirley Smith, Dorothy Grtmshaw, Sally Kil-laKatherine Sherriff, Fay Williams, Rae Anderson, Mer-ilyn Fotheringham and Clarice Smith. THE ELLA STANCLIFF Past' Noble Grands club met at the; I O O F Hall on Wednesday, I Dec. 8 th. The business meeting was conducted by Nelouise Schow, secretary of the club. They lived In Germany, for the past three years, and now plan to make yM their home in Ogden. Mrs. Jerry Kirk, Mrs. Betty Davis and President Dorothy Grtmshaw acting as hosts. A business meeting was held, after which a delicious luncheon was served. Exchange of Christmas gifts was the-- highlight of the evening. Bridge and pinochle were played by the hostesses ami Mrs. Letha Smyth, Mrs. Metja Weston. Mrs. Magdalena White, Mrs. Patricia Williams, Mrs. E Nel Smith, Mrs, Laura Lore x, Mrs. Helen Bank. A program followed, with Mrs. Emma Smith giving Pioneer Stories, Mrs. Josephine Killam and Mrs. Bonnie Easton sang a duet, and Christmas carols were sung by the group. Exchange of Christmas gifts was also a highlight of the party. Norman Lynn Holli. son of and Mrs. Delos Hollis of Norwalk, Calif., visited a week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, and also enjoyed a visit in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and family. Mr. IARQE received Raymond Magill word of the death of his father, John Magill, 01 at Saginaw. Mich., and left Saturday night to attend funeral services, held j Monday at Topeka, Kansas.
