He was born March 13, in 1915 Venice, Sevier County, Utah to James Madison and Cornelia his wife Carol to the Tennessee Nashville Mission. He is survived by his wife Carol; and six children: Dennis Laurel Lindon; Chidester, Paul St. George; Ortez, Chidester, Henderson, NV; David Chidester, West Valley; Todd Chidester, American Fork; Jonathan Chidester. He grew up in Delta and attended school there. His family later moved to Salt Lake where he completed his education. He served his country during World War II in the Pacific. He worked as a carpenter his entire life.
