Wendy was recently selected to represent Lehi High as this year's Sterling. Scholar in Speech and Drama. In region drama competitions, she has placed first in scenes, fifth in Shakespeare, and in the top six in monologues. As a member of Encore Choir, she was valuable in helping the choir win first place gold in the New Society. She "Don't be afraid of dreams they make you who you are," is the philosophy of Wendy Allison Milam this week's Pioneer Profile. She is the daughter of Robert and Rebecca Milam of Saratoga Springs. Wendy is an enthusiastic and bubbly Senior who displays a "zest for living." She holds a leadership position in the Thespian club presidency and she is a member of Encore Show choir, drama, science, and Spanish clubs, and the National Honor York City competition. Wendy maintains a 3.7 grade point aver- age while taking advance placement classes in biology, Spanish, and English Literature. Wendy is an active member of the Saratoga Springs IDS Ward where she serves as 2nd counselor in the Laurel class presidency. She has achieved the girls' camp award and she has completed all the requirements for the Young Woman's Recognition award. In community activities, Wendy elected officers for Lena Nance has been elect ed Student Body President for Lehi High School Elected to serve with her are Cody Colledge, Jack Vincent, Secretary; Stacy Johnson, VP. Activities; VP. Crandell, Kenny Assemblies; Katie Pulham, VP. and Rachelle Publicity, hopes to one day live in New York City and be in a Broadway show. Wendy's future goals are to attend Southern Utah University and major in drama. The students have performed twice with the Lehi High School choirs in concert, have sung at the other three Lehi elementary schools in assemblies, have been in concert at the University Mall.
