He was Salt born May 11; M 1 1918 in Provo to Frank M. and Alberta Singleton White. He attended Provo City schools, was active in the scouting program and received his Eagle award. He graduated from BY Academy, served in the U.S. Navy, playing trombone in the Navy band. He married Sybil Keele. They had two sons and later divorced. He married Adele Patricia Hinckley. They had five children and later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He resided in Provo, Springville, and for the past 27 . years he lived in Highland. Over the years his occupations included owning a plumbing business in Provo, he was a Utah State Building Inspector and an estimating engineer. His interests and talents were many. When he was younger, he had his own dance band, playing throughout Utah County and beyond. He loved to take his family and friends on desert trips, sharing with them his vast knowledge of paleontology. He was an avid rock, gem and antique collector. He had an enthusiasm for life seldom found in a man his age, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His children are grateful for the values of honesty, integrity and responsibility that he instilled in their lives. His grandchildren will miss their very special "Grumpah." Survivors include his children: David P.
