She loved the gospel, served many years doing Extraction Work for and genealogical research loved to go to the temples. She loved her family dearly. She is survived by one sister, Vivian Rt.y, West Jordan; one Donna M. Dahl, Lehi; two sons, Von D. Holmstead, Lehi; Gary M. Holmstead, Littleon, Colo.; two daughters, Kathleen J. Harris, Highland; Shery L. Nally, Phoenix, Ariz.; three step-daughte- r, Larsen's Nursing in Home) Lehi. She was born Jan. 5, 1910 in American Fork, to Hans Christian Marius and Sarah Eliza Wood Madsen, their eleventh child. Evelyn married Morris C. Holmstead, April 13, 1932. (Divorced) She married Sherman R. Wright, June 25, 1988 (marriage was annulled after six months). Evelyn was sealed to Morris C. Holmstead in the Provo LDS Temple, April 27, 1990. She retired form Mountain States Telephone and Tele- graph Co. as a telephone operator after twenty-fivyears. Her voice was recognized on "Information" by many. Evelyn was very resourceful. She loved to quilt, sing in the choir, make "gramma bread", and share e R. - Holmstead Evelyn Madsen Holmstead, passed away September 20, 1998 at the age ot 88. She had suffered from a stroke eight years earlier. She died at Timp Haven -- n; 19 grandchil- dren; 11 grandchildren; two step great-gregrandchildren and 47 79 great grandchildren. Many greatful thanks are extended to the staff of Larsen's Nursing Home for their wonderful kindness and great care. Funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi Dry Creek Ward Chapel, 500 S. 500 West, Lehi. Friends may call at the Wing step-gre- at at Mortuary, 118 E.
