I 6. She was born in Lehi on Dec. 6, 1907, the daughter of Joseph hi , pp;' j - Jennifer Evans, Doug Fannen Jennifer Evons to marry Doug Fannen Dec. 12 Joan Simper Evans and Kerry M. Evans of Lehi are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Doug Fannen. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ford Fannen of Walnut, Calif. The couple will exchange vows at The Colonial House on Best man duties will be performed by Brad Fannen. with Jim Kesling. Jason Gage and Brian Gwilliam serving as groomsmen The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Lehi High School. She is employed by C.TR. Homes in Orem. The prospective groom is a graduate of Walnut High School in California and the Utah Police Academy. He is employed at Omega International and is a reserve officer for the Lehi Police Department. The couple will make their first home in Lehi. The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 at The Colonial House, 187 V. Main, Lehi. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be Nikole Magnusson, Xatilie Thompson, Jammie Evans and Edith Broadbent Haws dings and birthdays. She saw to it that her children took music lessons Knollin on the violin and Hugh, Ralph and Elaine on the piano. She and Jay were active genealogists and spent many years doing research and tem- School. Edith still lives in the family that Jay built in 1935. She has three sons and a John Knollin daughter: home (Shirley, deceased) Haws, Lehi; Joseph Hugh (Deanna Lee) Haws, Riverton; Ralph Jay (Connie Dean)) Haws, South Jordan, and Elaine (James Horace) Hadfield, American Fork; 23 grandchildren and 46 ple work. She enjoyed her family most of all, providing family birthday dinners at the family home in Lehi and at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon almost every month until a couple of years ago. She loved to cook and make quilts for family, extended familv and friends for wed- - She also has two brothers and a sister, John Samuel (Alice) Broadbent, Alvin Dixon (Lois) Broadbent, both of Lehi, and Thora B. Loveridge. Dale Webster Pierce, J U : They served a church service Cody Smith. Dec. 12. Samuel and Annie Shaw Broadbent. She married Jay Knollin Haws on Nov. 3, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 15, 1997. Edith had two brothers and two sisters, as well as three stepsisters and four stepbrothers. She has been a housewife for most of her married life, however, she helped her husband in the family businesses over the years. She was active in Church affairs and served as president of the Lehi 5th Ward Relief Society for many years; she has also served in most of the auxiliaries in the ward and she and her husband served on a mission to Australia from 1971 to Krista Lee Blackburn Krista Lee Blackburn to wed Dale Sherman Blackburn of Lehi and Nancy Jones of Bountiful are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their Lee Krista daughter, Blackburn, to Dale Webster Pierce, the son of Ted and Lorraine Pierce of American Fork. The couple will exchange vows at the Orchard Hills Chapel on Dec. 13. They will be honored at a reception that same evening from 7 to 9:30 at the Orchard Hills Chapel, 951 N. 550 West, American Fork. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be W. Pierce and Hepworth Bethany Shannon Herrera. Best man duties will be performed by Jamison Lowe and Mark Pierce. is a graduThe bride-to-bate of American Fork High School. She is a receptionist at SpartanRick Warner of Salt e Lake City. The prospective groom is also a graduate of American Fork High School. He recently returned from school at BYUHawaii.
