The Lehi West Stake will sponsor a program in the evening where selected members will tell Pioneer stories from the lives of their ancestors. The Young Women of the Lehi South Stake will dedicate a "Faith in Every Footstep" monument, complete with time capsule, in a ceremony on Sunday, July 20. For more information on the projects, see the front page. Arts in the Park The free concert series will feature the music of the Revill Family Singers at 7 p.m. in Wines Park, 500 N. Center. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Lehi Arts Center, 685 N. Center St. Narcotics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous is a group of recovering addicts who live without the use of drugs. It costs nothing to be a member. Lehi Lehi Ralphine Burt Steven Gunn 110 West -- -- sesquicentennial activities Saturday. Old Pioneer Cemetery to be dedicated Sat. in Cedar Fort Main Mormon pioneers entering the Salt Lake Valley. Saturday morning, July 12, literally. began with a bang Thunder and lightening and a torrent of rain did not dampen the spirits of a small band of modern "pioneers" determined to restore the Old Pioneer Cemetery in Cedar Fort. In a similar fashion to their early counterparts, this group braved the storm and mud to complete their task. The project of renovating and restoring the Old Pioneer Cemetery was initially suggested several years ago by Margery Peterson as she did work on her book, Our Roots Grow Deep: A History of Cedar Valley. Council was The Town approached by the Barnes Cook family organization last fall to see if the town had any projects for them to work on. Mayor Howard Anderson and Councilman Robert Messersmith began preparations for the Old Cemetery restoration and the Council approved the plan. They decided this kind of project would be a perfect and fitting tribute to the early pioneers and settlers of this community. What could be better timing than to have the it completed in 1997 Sesquicentennial celebration of the Councilman Markus Anderson, Sheila Anderson, McKinney, Pat Glavin and Melvin Cook.
