Pioneer Nick Adams scored 20 minutes into the game, and only two minutes later Danny Anderson scored again. Anderson's goal was not without its price, however, since the Park City goalie kicked his head in the action; Anderson was required to have stitched and missed the rest of the game. Finally, Lehi was pitted against Richfield for a second time, Richfield having come through the double elimination process. The game was closer, but still a victory for Lehi.
