These goats, captured with net guns from helicopters, were removed from crowded herds in the Tusher Range, above Beaver, and driven to Marsh Peak and areas near Chepeta Lake, in the Southeastern Uinta Mountains. Goats were first introduced to Cottonwood Canyon, near Twin Peaks, in 1967 and have spread, as some of these animals moved to Lone Peak. Others have been established on Mount Timpanogas, Bald Whiterocks Canyon, Mountain, Willard Peak, and the Tusher Range. Herds have done extremely well in many of these areas Those who spot a Rocky Mountain goat should report the date, location, size of the herd, and number of kids, as well as any tag numbers and tag colors the animals to the Division office in Vernal, (801) Fox November 5th Christine Speaks Out For: Welfare Reform Lower Property Taxes Family Values Vote Christine Fox November 5, 1996 789-310- 3. ? Each disc is made up of a firm, fibrous outer ring and a softer, pulpy central area. A degenerated disc may have damage to the central area or damage to the outer ring which may allow the central portion to bulge, much like a bulge on a tire. On occasion, a fragment of the central pulpy tissue may be pushed through the ring into the spinal canal and cause pressure on the spinal cord or nerve root.
