He was born Oct. 10, 1937 in Lehi to Raymond Horace and Phoebe Alice Sabey Stewart. He married Mav LaRee Strickland May 29, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a carpenter, farmer and custodian for the LDS Church. He served in the Army National Guard and in the LDS Church in various presidencies, including Elders, High Priests and Sunday School. He was an active advisor in the Future Farmers of America and a member of the Lehi Civic Association.
