She is a quiet, hardworking, and diligent senior at LHS, who believes you should set high goals and not give up until you have accomplished them. Involved in school activities, Erika is a member of the Science and Spanish clubs, the National Honor Society, and the Spirit Squad. She has also been a member of the band and the girl's basketball team. Erika has received the National English Merit Award and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. She main- - While wandering down the hall presence seemed more relevant than during other weeks. Asking any student the reason for their increased intensity, the reply would simply be "Finals!" As all of you know, the term has come to a close, as of last Friday, and the onslaught of tests are finally over. Many wondered if this 'was college, or at least if this is what college is like. On average, students had at least two tests a day (many had more) for five days; it truly was a grueling week.
