North Stake creates Cedar Hollow First and Second Wards By MARGE DAVIS Stake Dir. of Public Affairs Under the direction of President Roger Merrill of the Lehi North Stake, the Cedar Hollow Ward was divided Sunday, May 7, forming the new Cedar Hollow First and Cedar Hollow Second Wards. Bishop Terry Grimley was retained as the bishop of the Cedar Hollow First Ward and his former executive secretary, Kenneth S. Raines, was sustained as the new bishop of the Cedar Hollow Second Ward. The Cedar Hollow First Ward will move into the North Stake Center at 900 N. 1200 East. Their block meetings will begin at 10:50 a.m. in place of tnf17th Ward, which will move into the new Highland Building, 9600 N 6800 West. Cedar Hollow 1st Ward Bishop Terry Grimley of the new Cedar Hollow First Ward chose Douglas S. Worlton as his first counselor, Michael A. Allred as his second counselor, Amiel Louiseau as executive secretary, Shirl Morrill as the ward clerk, Dan Casper, financial clerk, and Steve Winters, membership clerk. the Cedar Hollow Ward since it was organized in October 1994. New first counselor Doug Worlton was reared in Lehi and met his wife, Connie, at a BYU ward. They have been married 14 years and have four children. He is employed at Valtek in Springville. He served a mission in England and has since held many church positions including Sunday School president and ward clerk. Michael Allred is from northern California and met his wife, Theresa, who is from Texas, in high school. They have been married about 12 years and have three children. They have been living in Provo near his work at Novell, but plan to move to Lehi as soon as their new home is completed later this month. He went on a mission to the Philippines and has held many previous church positions. Amiel Louiseau and his wife, Sharon, met while living in Alaska and have been married 17 years. They have four children and have lived in Lehi since last August. Amiel works at Yamas Controls Engineering in Salt Lake City. He went on a mission to Ireland but due to some health problems with asthma he completed it in Phoenix and since then has filled many various church callings. Shirl Morrill is a Utah native from Price. He and his wife, Carol, have been married 35 years and have three married children and five grandchildren. He is a sales manager for Country Crisp. They have lived in Lehi most of their married life and he has served in previqus bishoprics, as well as many other church callings. Bishop Grimley and his wife, Melba, have lived in Lehi for eight years. They are both originally from Utah and have five children. He received his master's degree from BYU and is employed by the Jordan School District. He served a mission in Hong Kong and has served in many stake and ward positions and has been bishop of Dan Casper is from Idaho. He met his wife, Penny in Ogden; they were married in Logan. They have been married for 22 years and have six children. They have lived in Lehi for three years. He works as operation director for Christensen Motors in Provo. He was in the service during the Vietnam War, serving mainly in the Philippine Islands. He has served in various Salt Lake City. He filled a mission to Bogota, Colombia and has served in several leadership positions previous to this current call- church callings. served in many leadership Steve Winters and his wife, Marsha, are both from Utah. They met on a blind date and have been married for 12 years. They and their four children have lived in Lehi about one year. He works for a video company in Salt Lake City. He served a mission to Atlanta and was the Elder's Quorum president previous to this calling. Craig works as an accountant for Arthur Anderson in Salt Lake City. He served a mission in Brazil and has worked int he Elder's quorum presidency of their BYU Ward. Steven Walker met his wife, Ricks Viola, while attending College in Rexburg. They have been married 20 years and have four children. Steve works as a senior analyst on computers for Abbott Laboratories in Salt Lake City. He has lived in Lehi for about 15 years. He filled a Spanish-speakin- g mission in Chicago. He ing.
