TOPS stands for American Fork Hospital has expanded its diabetes education program to include a curriculum tagged, "Beyond the Basics." This program is designed to help diabetics stay motivated in managing their diabetes. The class will meet on the second Saturday of even months. Participants will help determine class contents by sharing their question, concerns and successes. The next class is Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., in the hospital's Education Center. This month, the topic will include glucometer review. One Man Band opens in PL Grove Brad Turner has brought his One Man Band, a restaurant, to Pleasant Grove and so far it is doing a rousing business. One Man Band is located at 340 S. Main St. and is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday. It is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Brad lives in Payson but his father, DougTurner, and his grandmother, Lucille Fugal Turner, live in Pleasant Grove. He and his wife, Lana, are the parents of four daughters. In his spare time, Brad enjoys big game hunting and golfing. He said that so far they are Tax seminar offered Smith Barney, 2474 N. Lund is from American Fork,' Utah and received a two year business degree from Utah Valley State College prior to opening a Servicemaster Service Center.
