She was born Jan. 17, 1930 in Fairfield, Alabama to John Aster and Marie Hinckley. She is survived by her husband of Lehi; children: Linda (Mrs. Jack) Ernst, Connie (Mrs. Ken) Rowe, Larry (Judy) Barnhart, all of Lehi; David (Pat) Barnhart, Provo; Jetta (Mrs. Dean) Swalberg, Delta; 23 and Jemima Henson Jones. She always loved music and shared this love and talentby serving in countless callings. She was ward ter at the time of her death. Vida was an accomplished seamstress and utilized that talent as floor lady for Review Apparel in r, in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Machay Sneed. She n; She grew up and attended schools in Lehi. She graduated from Lehi High School where she was the state tennis champion and participated in many musical productions. She lived in Castle Gate, Delta and Hinckley and was living in Lehi at the time of her death. Vida was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in married Bob Price. They were later di vorced. She m arried R.T. Curry Feb. 12, 1957 in Nevada. He died Jan. 4, 1986. She was a member of the Catholic Church attending St. Peters Parish in American Fork. She had been employed at Sears Telecommunications and at the laboratory at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Provo. She enjoyed tole painting, porce- - grandchildren; 11 brother, Blaine Jones, Lehi. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Myrle Meredith and Irene Edwards; four brothers: Arnold, Dave, Ralph and Temple. LaVar. Funeral services were held Monday, June 13, in the Lehi West Stake Center. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery under the direction of Wing Mortuary. David Rex Holmes, 63, Lehi, died Regional Medical Center in Provo of heart failure. He was born March 17, 1931 in Lehi to David William and G e n a V e e Roy A. Wagstaff Steel, Geneva Works. He was a loving husband, if, fa- ther, grandfather, brother and friend. Roy was gentle, kind and strong. He was loved my many and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife of American Fork; five sons: Jack A and Gary L., both ofAmerican Fork; David M., Moab; R. Bruce, Richfield; Richard, Delta; 15 grandchildren; one sister, Lola Evans, Enterprise. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, at 1 p.m. in the Hillcrest 4th Ward Chapel, 680 N. 350 West, American Fork, where friends may call Thursday from 1 1 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Internment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery with military honors by Veterans of Foreign attack. He was born July 8, 1926 in American Fork, the son of Arthur Leon and L a d o c i a Mayberry Wagstaff. He married Catherine Vandeburgh Dec. 3, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was educated in American Fork schools and participated in the marching band and basketball. He served in the Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He worked all his life as a crane operator with Operating Engineers Local Union 3. He enjoyed animals and raisingbirds.
