Republican Women to meet " Utah County Republican Women will meet Monday, May 2, at noon in the Ballroom on the third floor of the Historic Utah County Courthouse, 51 S. University Ave., Provo. Also addressing the group will be candidates for state and county offices who will be facing a primary election on June 28. County Commission Seat A, Malcolm H. Beck, incumbent; and Jerry Grover; Commission Seat B, Richard A. Johnson, incumbent, and David Gardner. Candidates for House of Representatives are: District 66, Douglas Bowen and Allen Hales; and District 57, Lowell Nelson, incumbent, and Lloyd Davis. A light luncheon will be served. The Sheriffs Youth Posse is a select groupof youth whohave been "caught in the act" of doing a good deed. For example: showing genuine acts of kindness, standing up against negative peer pressure, using peer pressure in standing up against negative peer pressure in a positive way, voluntarily helping the less fortunate, being acceptive of, and helping children that are considered different, or any action description of the act or action excep- tional.
