The dance was more hilarious than frightening. Most all of the students were dressed up in costumes. The costumes were very original. Amanda Hansen and Ashley Balle were dressed as "Cat Worn an" (Am anda) and the "Penguin" (Ashley) from the popular movie Batman II. Their costumes were extremely realistic. Other students at the dance were dressed as face cards, mobsters, and a couple of girls were even dice! No matter how large, small, short or tall, Lehi Pioneers sure can Beat By ANNIE PINKHAM dance! When the music plays, we "Lehians" (so to speak) really get moving. From "mod dancing" to "head banging." There is only one word that could describe the Halloween dance, WILD! There is always romance in the air when a slow song isbeing played (even at Halloween dances). The United States Achievement Academy has established the Scholar Award program in order to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines.
