She is the daughter of Ret. Air Force Captain Kent mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmiimtmmmmmmmm Pioneer Profile and Esther Sumsion of Lehi, formerly of Maryville, Calif. Her philosophy of "anything possible if you think positive and just be nice" is evident in her daily li ifXjOtM .WAV W - Support the Pioneers life an extracurricular activities at Lehi High School. Traci is a member of the National Honor Society and the Women's varsity soccer team, which recently placed second in region and competed in state competitions at St. George. She was also recently selected for the Academic soccer Team. All-Sta- She is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students and she has received the National English Merit Award and the Presidential Academic Fitness Award. She maintains a 4.0 GPA while takingadvanced placementclasses in English, history, Spanish and chemistry. Traci was also a very active student while living in California. She was jayvee cheerleader for two years and received the Most Dedicated and Spirited Cheerleader award. Free time finds Traci enjoying playing the piano, swimming, ice skating, roller blading, camping, hiking, walking and collecting Madame Alexander dolls and unusual pieces of jewelry. Traci's future goals are to attend the University of Utah Medical School and graduate in pediatrics. She also plans on marrying and raising a family.
