Fork Hospital staff The Governing Board and Administration at American Fork Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas F. Jones, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Jones specializes in Internal Medicine and will be opening the American Fork Internal Medicine Clinic located in the American Fork Medical Plaza at 120 N. 1220 East 17. Dr. Jones will begin accepting patients on Aug. 19. Please call at that time for an appointment. Office hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 pjn. After graduating from Grain Valley High School in Grain Valley, Missouri, Dr. Jones entered a combined B A. and M.D. program 756-216- 2 at the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he graduated in 1988. He served a one year internship in Internal Medicine at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City before completing a three year residency in Internal Medicine. Hospital Administrator Craig Smedley said Dr. Jones comes highly recommended and is pleased that he has decided to practice in the area. "His (Dr. Jones) references and qualifications are excellent It's great to have an Internal Medicine specialist back at AFH,"Smedley said. Dr. Jones recently married in April 1991. His wife, Patricia, is currently working at LDS Hospital as a Speech Therapist. Scown Vincent Fox Scown, 64, Lehi, died Aug. 12, 1991, at his home. He was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Lehi, to Norman and Alta Fox Scown. He married Melba Dean Stanley Dec. 24, 1949, in Salt Lake City. He served in the Navy during World War II. He had been employed as an electrician LaMar Scown, Kansas City, Kansas; Paul Scown, North Salt Lake; Mrs. John (Elaine) McLain, Stafford, Texas; Mrs. Fred (Rosalie) Seamons, Duchesne. He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. in the Lehi Stake Center, 200 N. at Geneva Steel, retired. He was a member of the LDS Church, the Orem; Sharon Larwerh Center.
